Turkish Tarhana Soup
Made with Tarhana spice this traditional Turkish Tarhana soup recipe is quick easy to prepare with just a few ingredients in just 30 minutes.

- 5 tablespoons of powdered tarhana
- 6 glasses of water
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoon of red sweet ground pepper
Add the tarhana in a bowl, add some of the water just until it covers the top and mix.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium size saucepan.
Add ground sweet red pepper and mix.
Pour in the water, salt, then the tarhana.
Cook omn medium heat stirring occacsionally.
Bring the tahana soup to boil, then turn the heat down and stirring for 5 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
